The Jolly Pumpkin brewery is a ver nice tavern style bar with 2 levels and a bar on each level. Be prepared, however, since most of their beers are Sours. The Jolly Pumpkin has several locations, one of which is up in Traverse City right next to North Peak Brewery. Also of note is that Jolly Pumpkin brews and bottles all the North Peaks beers for them. Because of this, you will also find the North Peaks beers on tape and sold in bottles at the Jolly Pumpkin locations as well.
The bartender also told us a little about some of their history, apparently the head brewer came from Arbor Brewing about 10 years back, and their head chef is also the chef over at grizzly Peaks.
