Odd Side Ales

This is a unique, and very small brewery.  The atmosphere is kind of like a dark cafe and it is not usually too busy.  They don’t make any food, but you can purchase some bags of chips or they welcome you to bring your own food.

The bar has that historical presence, especially being in the old Piano Factory.  The bar top was a recent entry into the Art Walk and does look quite nice, it is wood with some multi-colored grains in different patterns, then covered with a shellac to smooth it all out.

When I was there, they had about 10 or 11 beers on tap, they were good quality and very flavorful, perhaps too flavorful for me, sometimes I just like the beer taste that can get lost with all the fruits.  My favorites were the Jackalope beers, a toss up between the Amber Ale and the Second Kentucky Cousin.
